These Kai Shun Multipurpose Scissors are multi-purpose scissors for the kitchen. You'll be amazed at the many uses of these versatile scissors. From opening packages, to cutting flower stems or cutting herbs. You can easily take the scissors apart to clean them. As such, you know for sure that no dirt will get caught in between the blades.

Besides the scissors, there are other handy features. For example, these scissors include a nut cracker, bottle opener and a 'bone notch' that allows you to cut poultry bones or joints. At the end of the scissors are two flathead screwdrivers that also act as a lid opener to pry off lids.

The scissors are made from 420J2 stainless steel and the handles are made from glass-filled nylon. This is extra strong nylon that is resistant to drops and bumps. Another handy feature easily overlooked is the ribbed texture on the inside of the handle parts. Use this to easily open bottles with a stubborn screw cap by placing both ribbed insides around the cap. So you can use the scissors as a lever, the ridges provide a good grip on the cap.

Its products include professional hairdressing scissors, manicure scissors, shaving products and manicure sets. The DOVO company started producing razors with thirteen employees.

The law passed in 1938 to protect the name Solingen gave it more pride and a sense of security for the brand, as well as an even greater sense of local identity.

The company chose a knight with a sword and hammer as its coat of arms, which penetrated the markets of Western Europe and North America with vigour.
